Free Vector - Guitar
I think this newest vector release resulted from my new found obsession with Rock Band 2. So far I’ve resisted the urge to create rocker silhouettes and octopus tentacles, but I couldn’t help making this guitar. If people are interested, I may follow it up with a vector instrument silhouettes pack, so that I can finally put an end to Rock Band’s influence upon my designs. Just so you know, I’ve recently become hooked to Fallout 3, so don’t be surprised if I start posting vector mutants and bobble-head dolls.
For the guitar example, I borrowed some vectors from other sources. I can’t include them in this download, because they are not of my own creation, but I can direct you to where you can acquire them for yourselves. All of the elements can be found at vecteezy. The paint splatter and wings are borrowed from Go Media’s Sample Vector Pack, the fire from dzeri’s Misc Vector Collection, and the curly elements from createsk8’s Swirly Curls 6 - Neon Star.
The guitar vector comes in five different colors. Let me know if there are any special requests. I’d be happy to make more color varieties in my spare time. I’ve posted for download AI CS3 files for each color guitar, and one larger file with all the guitars. If your computer has a lot of power, get the file with all the colors. It’ll save you time. Though I’m warning you the file is quite large.

Hi Daan,
I guarantee that this work is completely original. I designed it based upon a royalty -ree image of a guitar from stock.xchng. You can find it here: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/528905 . I went to the link you provided, but there was no image displayed. I searched the term “guitar”. The only result was for an acoustic guitar, which looks nothing like my vector, other than the fact that they are both blue. Next time, maybe you’ll let someone defend themselves before reporting them.
